I'm Lina
I've always loved computers. Through design, art and love I found computer engineering. I like to experiment with making things, physical or digital. I’m interested in creative curiosity and learning through experimentation. Sometimes I call what I make art, mostly it’s an exploration to learn more about what I’m making and how I can make it work. That is exactly how I learned how to code. I was a scrappy freelance designer who thought I wouldn't be able to code because I was really bad in math and cheated a lot to get good grades. The quote 'work smarter not harder' resonated in my head most of my life and come to find out, thats how a lot of developers think/work! I found my fam. I like to iterate and copy existing things and make subtle tweaks, debugging and combining ideas in new ways.I’m deeply committed to artist led community organizing. Currently, I'm part of a Curator's advisory board at a 501c3 nonprofit, Future Front Texas (FFTX). Which puts women and queer people at the front! If you want to know more about me or what I do, shoot me a message!
If you want to support what I do please consider donating to FFTX.
